Golf is readily available for players of all levels, with a wide choice of Links (including 2 championship courses) through parkland and a 9 hole course suitable for beginners.
Fishing
Salmon and trout fishing is available on the River Annan, and on the nearby river Nith.There are also a number of local fisheries.
Walking
There is a wide range of walks from beginner to experienced. For the more challenging, Annan is on the Southern Upland way. There are a number of well marked waliking routes.
Cycling
There are a number of popular cycle routes, and Annan is part of National route 7. Your cycle can be locked in our garage overnight.
Shooting
Clay pigeon shooting is available at the Westlands activity which also boast go-karting and painballing.Wildfowling and game shooting is also available locally.
Bird Watching
Wildlife abounds on the Solway Firth,with the 1400 acre Carelaverock Wetlands Centre famous for ducks wading birds and flocks of up 20,000 Barnacle Geese.
Shopping
Visit the renowned village of Gretna Green and shop at the Gretna Gateway Outlet Village
